Beyond the borders of France and Italy, Europe is home to an unrivalled festival landscape. This pack brings together 1,051 festivals across 15 countries — Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Portugal, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Finland. These events cover every genre: live music, jazz, rock, electronic, classical music, cinema and multidisciplinary arts. Their scale ranges from small city festivals with 2,000 attendees to major international events welcoming tens of thousands of festival-goers over several days.
Seasonality is clearly summer-focused: the majority of European festivals take place between June and September, with a peak in July-August in Nordic countries and an earlier opening (May) in Spain, Portugal and the Balkans. The ideal window for applying to artistic directors falls between October and February of the preceding year: this is when programmers build their line-ups and sign off on budgets.
These festivals actively seek international artists who can bring a different sonic identity. A French or Franco-Italian group often benefits from a welcome novelty effect on stages accustomed to booking local artists.
This pack is designed for artists who want to build a European tour and are no longer limiting themselves to their home market. It is particularly suited to:
A good command of English (for correspondence with foreign programmers) is recommended; a press kit translated into English is an indispensable asset.
Building a European festival database yourself takes dozens of hours of research, spanning institutional websites, professional networks and manual verification. LiveContact does this work for you:
You can also delegate sending to our outreach service, which prepares personalized presentation emails and handles follow-ups for you.
European festival programmers often plan 10 to 14 months ahead. If you're targeting summer 2027, start sending your applications from autumn 2026. Some festivals (particularly in Germany, the UK and Scandinavia) announce their full line-up as early as January.
International festivals appreciate projects that tell a story: Franco-European duo, repertoire mixing languages and cultures, traditional music reimagined, electronic live acts with musicians on stage. Showcase your uniqueness rather than your versatility. Consult our methodology for detailed advice on writing your artistic dossier.

Volume: 1,051 contacts — Price: 69 € incl. VAT, secure payment, instant delivery.
The pack covers 15 countries: Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Portugal, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Finland. It is designed to complement the France and Italy packs already available in the shop.
The majority of festivals in the file have a programming policy open to international artists. That said, each festival is free to make its own artistic choices: some prefer local artists. Our selection excludes strictly associative or amateur events in order to focus on structures that have a programming budget.
English is the recommended language for pan-European prospecting: it is the working language of programmers in all the countries covered. For Spanish- or German-speaking countries, a version in Spanish or German may improve your response rate, but a well-written English email is always acceptable.
The Europe pack deliberately excludes France and Italy, which have their own packs with more detailed data. If you want to prospect all three areas, you can purchase the packs separately or opt for the Full FR + IT Pack and add this Europe pack to it.
Every email address is validated by DNS/MX lookup: we verify that the domain is active and that the mail server accepts emails. Addresses that cannot be found or return a permanent error are excluded from the file. In the event of a confirmed bounce within 30 days, we replace the contact.
